Sunday, July 3
I went to Church with my dad earlier than usual so I could go visit my friend's grandma. I hadn't seen her for a long time so I was really happy I was able to visit with her and catch up. We talked for hours about a lot of different things, and at some point my friend was showing us all these random videos. I ended up staying for dinner and playing videogames with my friend. I missed my friend and his grandma a lot. I'm really glad I was able to see them.
Monday, July 4
Today is my least favorite holiday. For one the fireworks pollute air. They are also loud and annoying. As always my aunt was hosting a picnic at her house. Swimming from 3-5pm then dinner sometime after that. At first everything was okay, but after a while I just wasn't in the party mood. Of course since I hate fireworks, my parents and I left sometime after they started. There was one that was so loud I let out this bloodcurdling scream. At that point I just stood up and said that I couldn't take it any longer. I wish people were able to celebrate their country and independence in less disruptive ways. -__-
Tuesday, July 5
I went to workout in the afternoon at my gym with my mom like usual. I went to see a movie today for the first time in a while. The movie was called Monte Carlo. I thought it was really cute. Different than what I thought it would be, but I did like it. I worked on making an accessory for a cosplay. I am knitting a cat backpack. I have one side done right now.
Wednesday, July 6
I was really tired so I woke up sometime before 2pm. Later in the afternoon my mom and I hit the gym then went for a mall walk, went grocery shopping, and went home for dinner. Other than that I didn't do a whole lot today. I did some homework (hooray!), but still have more catching up to do. Yay...*sarcasm* I'm hoping I get more done tomorrow (homework, cleaning, productive stuff) I hope to work a little more on my cosplay too.
Thursday, July 7
I went to the gym with my mom then took a walk at the mall. I worked on my cosplay project a little bit. I listened to some great jazz music. Finally I watched a movie before going to bed.
Friday, July 8
I had to wake up to get to an appointment then went to work out after that. My mom and I went out to lunch at Red Lobster and we did a little shopping afterword. I found some really cute blouses and an awesome jacket to add to my school wardrobe for next year. I had some books I wanted to get rid of so I took them to a used book store and was able to pick up a few different books to read. I tried to work more on my cosplay accessory but I am soo sick of working on it! I think I may try making it a new way. The way I'm trying to make it now is taking too much time and it is very repetitious. I feel like giving up. I'll see what I can do to remake or just continue making the backpack. I really need to start working on my dress for the cosplay so I guess I'll have to start tomorrow. I have so much to do!
Saturday, July 9
I went to look for material to make my cosplay accessory with and ended up finding that along with my homecoming dress! What a piece of luck! I spent over 5 hours working on the stuffed cat for my cosplay but I love how it turned out. It is so cute! Now I just have to make the dress...that is going to be a challenge...

Week Six
Sunday, June 26
Today is my mom's birthday. We didn't exactly do much to celebrate. I got my ticket for a concert coming up this week for my favorite band. I had a job interview today. I will find out either tomorrow or Tuesday if I got the job or not. Surprisingly enough, I saw a friend of mine show up at the place I was going to have my interview. He said he was also there for an interview. It would be awesome if we were able to work together. I really really hope I get the job. That would be amazing! I would get to see my friend if he got a job too, I would be able to earn/ save money, and I would actually have something to do. I went to the gym with my parents and picked up a cake for my mom. That was my day.
Monday, June 27
Today is my parent's anniversary. The three of us went to lunch at Red Lobster to celebrate. After we ate I had to go home to do my paper route. Once I finished my paper route, we went to this shopping center to get some chocolate from Godiva (raspberry stars and truffles) and I happened upon this adorable boutique. It was called Francesca's Collections. It had really classy and unique jewelry as well as shoes, purses, clothes, and other quirky things. I walked through it and found some really cute jewelry on clearance so I got 2 necklaces, a bracelet (my mom called it a "Lady Gaga bracelet" lol), and two pairs of dangle earrings. I think I may be able to wear one of the necklaces and a pair of earrings for my senior pictures. I'm super stoked for my senior pics. I have no idea when I will get them taken though. I have a friend who offered to take them, but I have no money for them right now and she has yet to get back to me about when she could take them. After going to the little shopping center, we went for a walk around the mall then went home because the heat outside was absolutely unbearable. Later in the day after it cooled off outside, my mom and I went to Borders because we had 40% coupons (which don't come around often). I managed to find two awesome books. One was about beauty secrets and the other was a fitness book with really great pictures in it. Now I'm probably going to watch a movie then get to bed. Tomorrow I'm going to have to work on homework and get some house work done. I haven't done a lot of either lately and I feel rather behind. @_@
Tuesday, June 28
After putting it off for days (or maybe weeks) I finally gave in and did some laundry today. I had very little to wear so I knew it was time for laundry day. I told myself I was also going to clean today and do homework. I did a little homework, but not much. I didn't get around to doing any cleaning. My biggest accomplishment was probably waking up before the afternoon. I woke up at 9:29am. I have no idea HOW I did it though. Maybe it was that Lady Gaga song that popped on. I just had to wake up. I watched PLL and TNLCK (Pretty Little Liars and The Nine Lives of Chloe King) like I usually do. I went to go see Bad Teacher tonight with my mom. She got off work after it started so we missed maybe the first 20-30 minutes of it. I didn't mind though because that movie was way too raunchy for my tastes! There was loads of cursing. The director apparently couldn't think of anything funny to put in the script so they decided to throw in hundreds of curse words. There was also a few sexual scenes, and drug references. I thought the movie was going to be totally different, but was disappointed. There were only a few funny parts. It seems like no one can come out with decent movies anymore. If they can't come up with a decent script they just add some sex, drug/ alcohol abuse, and bad language and BANG! They got themselves a movie. *rolls eyes* I don't think I will ever understand why people enjoy movies like that. Ugh. What has society done to people these days? Rated 'R' movies disgust me. Blah.
Wednesday, June 29
I went to the gym this morning with my mom. After that I hung around at home, did my paper route, started getting ready for the concert, then finally left. I went to a concert for my favorite band: Panic! at The Disco. Some friends of mine were going to be there, but I couldn't get hold of them so I watched the concert by myself. It was probably for the better anyway. Down on the lower level I guess you could say there were crowd surfers, people throwing stuff like drinks and glow sticks, and other random stuff I didn't want to deal with. I was down on the floor level, but it was impossible to see. I went up to the balcony and got a spot right smack dab in the middle! I felt so lucky! I got tons of pictures! I hope they turned out OK. I think I love Panic! ten times more than before! Brenden Urie (singer/keyboardist) had a voice like an angel! I loved how he talked between songs. Through the show he did a few very cutsie things like high five one of the band members, give them hugs, etc. The concert was absolutely amazing! I got a band T-shirt which makes up for the fact that the only pictures I got were of the band and none with me and friends. It's okay I didn't find them though. I had the greatest time ever!
Thursday, June 30
Today I went to the gym with my mom this morning. Just like yesterday she woke me up with coffee (yum). If it weren't for the coffee, I would not have gotten out to work out yesterday or today. I know what you're thinking, but I am not addicted to coffee. Anywho, I took my mom to work today sometime after our workout. I also took some books back to the library and took something over to my grandma's house. Today was a very low key day. I was mostly trying to stay out of the 96 degree heat. I did some house chores, tried to start some homework, and talked to people on Facebook. That was my day. Oh! After picking my mom up from work we had icecream from Cold Stone :3 That was pretty great. I got coffee flavored icecream with Heath bar in it. Yum!
Friday, July 1
My brother was moving today so I went over to his apartment to help him move stuff. I was originally just supposed to be the door holder, but I ended up doing a lot more than that (I'm not complaining though). I brought boxes to the cars, loaded them, and took some in my car to transport to his new residence. I brought in boxes, helped move furniture, organized DVDs and CDs on a shelf, and put books on a bookshelf. When I had a few minutes where I had no work to do I danced to music. I didn't expect to receive anything for helping him move, but I got free lunch, dinner, and was taken to a movie that was being shown downtown outside. I would have to say that despite the fact that it was hot outside and I'm really tired that I had a great as well as very productive day. I got no homework done, but this was more important. Homework time tomorrow hopefully.
Saturday, July 2
Today I slept in until 2:30pm. Ugh. I wish I didn't. It felt like the day was half over when I woke up. Basically I did some errands with my dad and that was it. We saw this pet store by where we were running errands so we went inside. I found the cutest dogs. There was a shih tzu (my dream dog), some beagles, German shepherds, other dogs, bunnies, etc. Seeing those dogs made me want one even more. My mom has allergies and just says no to a dog. *sigh* Maybe one day when I'm on my own or married (if that ever happens) I'll have a doggie. I worked on a little bit of homework and watched part of the movie Titanic. Then I went to the store with my grandma and that was my day. I plan on waking up earlier tomorrow.

Week Five
Sunday, June 19
I went to my aunt's house today to see my uncle that I have not seen for about 12 years. It is hard to believe it has been that long. My aunt has a pool so I got to swim too which was nice since it was 87 degrees outside. After that my dad and I went home then to Church. I took him out to get icecream from Cold Stone Creamery for his Father's day gift. I wanted to take him to play mini golf, but he was so tired so we decided to save that for another day. I saw the movie The Art of Getting By. It was not what I expected, but I thought it was cute.
Monday, June 20
I went the Sprint to see if I could upgrade my cell phone, but it was too busy and my mom didn't want to wait. Today I just stayed at home and watched movies. My mom and I were going to go to the gym, but the sirens sounded so we had to turn around and go home. I haven't felt very well today. I guess it is just one of those days. I hope the week gets better. :/
Tuesday, June 21
I slept a long time today. That is becoming a bad habit already -_- I watched the new episodes of Pretty Little Liars and The Nine Lives of Chole King. I'm not sure if I like TNLCK as much as PLL. It seems less action-packed. I did a lot of knitting while watching tv today. It is definitely taking a toll on my hand. Sometimes I feel so old....ugh. Other than watching tv I did some house chores and am probably going to watch a movie with my mom when she gets home from work. She suggested we have rice for dinner with some other foods so I finally got the excuse to break out my rice maker and use it again. It seems like it has been a long time since I've used it last. I guess cooking just hasn't seemed real appealing. I have been sleeping a lot lately so I just feel so tired and don't even want to cook. I do need to practice my cooking skills though this summer. I'm not sure I will get to it tonight, but I was planning on starting my next book for my AP English class. I just want to get finished with this work. I have a few things done for English already. I want to finish everything soon so I don't procrastinate like I did last summer and freak out last minute. My goal is to have better study habits in the school year to come. I'm sick of stressing out about things when I really don't need to.
Wednesday, June 22
The weather today was great. I loved the breeze and that it was 66 degrees. I was convinced by the clouds that there would be a storm, but luckily there wasn't. Today I took my dad to go play tennis with me at the elementary school by my house. We used to do that a few summers ago, but just stopped doing it. I had a lot of fun. I called T.J. Maxx to ask if they have reviewed my application and they said they were going over all the applications that they had. Hopefully I get a call soon. I really hope I am not jinxing myself by saying that right now. I went for pie with my mom tonight at Village Inn. Just as I was leaving I ran into a friend and a few other familiar faces. Man, I live in such a small city- or so it seems. You always manage to run into SOMEONE you know or have run into before. I tried to go to the library to check out some books or magazines, but it was closed so I just took back some of the books I had checked out. I had a splitting headache again today which made this day that much more depressing. Please get better dear week, please.
Thurday, June 23
I woke up in the morning strangely enough, and went to the gym in the morning for a workout. I was sent to the library to get books for my mom, but I couldn't find them so I ended up checking out some more books. I found some really cute scrapbook paper. I found paper and stickers with the names of the high schools I attended on them. Also I found some paper that would go perfectly with my prom pictures. After finding the scrapbooking stuff, my mom and I were going to go have dinner downtown at Cascio's, but when we got there the place had closed because business was slow. We decided to just get Mexican food to go from Fernando's. We went home, had dinner, watched a movie, and that was my day.
Friday, June 24
Ugh I did not feel well today. My muscles hurt from working out making it hard to walk and overall I just felt blah. There is no other word to describe how I felt other than "blah." Unfortunately it was another blah day. I did not want to do anything at all, but stay at home and feel blah. My mom got me to go to the gym with she and my dad for a swim. I'm not sure it made me feel any better, but it was a hot day and the water was cool. I had been talking about getting a new phone for a while and was finally able to get one today. My last one was broken so, for a short time I was using an even older cell phone. The broken one was supposed to be fixed free of charge if we sent it to the company that made the phone, but because we would have had to pay to ship my phone I just took the plunge and got a new one. It is an LG Remarq. I know that isn't the "latest" or "coolest" cell phone, but I don't care. I'm not real technology crazy so I don't care how new or old the phone's model is. I like how it slides and it's a great teal color. The keyboard is QWERTY which is nice considering my last phones weren't like that. To end my day I did what I have been doing a lot of lately, eating Mexican food and watching a movie.
Saturday, June 25
There was a picnic being held today, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not so I decided to skip it. Instead I took a nap (sort of), talked with a friend I haven't spoken to in a while, and got a head start on my scrapbook. My grandma on my mother's side said she had a lot of pictures of my as a child and considering I don't have a lot myself, I went over to her house to get some of the pictures. We went through two boxes of photos. A lot of them were from old wedding, old trips, and of my grandma when she was younger. I saw a few pictures of my mom as a little girl for the first time ever. I had always wondered why I looked the way I did when I was as little girl. I guess I get my looks from my mom for the most part (although I'm told I look like my dad by some people, some people think I look more like my mom. I think I just look like me :)) I definitely hit the jackpot of photos at my grandma's house. I didn't even have that many pictures of myself at home. Not as a child at least. I've been taking more pictures through the high school years at dances and such. After getting home, I decided to print the pictures from my camera that I hadn't gotten printed yet (there were a lot in my opinion). Once I got those printed I went to town with the cropping thing my grandma let my borrow. I didn't get all of my pictures cropped, but I'm getting there. I'm so glad I was able to start working on my scrapbook. I was beginning to think that I would never start making it.
I went to my aunt's house today to see my uncle that I have not seen for about 12 years. It is hard to believe it has been that long. Week Four
Sunday, June 12
Okay so today was really super exhausting. I have been cleaning for what seems like the entire day. I think I was working for around 8 hours. It was so tiring, but it was worth it (I think). Also I worked a little bit on my knitting. Right now I am making a scarf. I learned how to knit a while ago, but just the basic stitch. I want to learn the other kinds of stitches so maybe I can make something new. The only things I ever really make are scarves, but they are really easy and my plan it to take them to a homeless shelter for the people once I make enough. I don't have very many done as of right now though D: Hopefully I will continue to work on my knitting projects and finish as many as possible.
Monday, June 13
Today I didn't do a whole lot. I woke up late like I usually do during the week and worked on a little bit of homework. Man, I am so tired. I think it's because I didn't get much sleep yesterday and then went to sleep late. Ugh my sleep schedule has really gotten thrown off since summer started. Other than the fact that summer isn't as exciting (yet) as I thought it would be, I'm at least happy. Happy with myself, life, and happy with the plans for my future. Life is good. :D
Tuesday, June 14
I called this one place I applied to last week to find out if they had gone over my application yet. To my dismay, I was told that the position had been filled. I was so upset! I bet they hired someone over 18. I hate how ageism is present in the workplace. Businesses claim that they don't discriminate based on age, yadda, yadda when it comes to hiring people. I don't believe it. I doubt that any employer is a so-called "Equal Opportunity Employer." All that aside I did finally take back my application to T.J. Maxx. It seems like a nice place to work and I'd most likely get a discount on clothes and such. It would be nice to get a job there, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Today I worked on some English homework and watched the season premier of Pretty Little Liars and The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Both were pretty good episodes. Also today I went to go see the movie 'Super 8.' Man, it was so packed full of action. Things were a little confusing, not to mention scary at times, but it was a really good movie. I definitely recommend it.
Wednesday, June 15
Today was very low key. I watched at least 3 of 4 episodes of That 70s Show when I should have been finishing reading this book for English. I eventually got around to it, but didn't read very much. My mom made me wake up around 12:30pm so I was pretty tired. I guess I was just sluggish today because I didn't get enough sleep and was at home most of the day. My mom got off work early and wanted to go out. We ended up going to Village Inn for pie and coffee like we like to do Wednesdays since the pie is free before 10pm. After pie and coffe we went to go see the movie Midnight in Paris. We read the synopsis of the movie and were sure that the movie wouldn't be very good, but it turned out to be great! It was right up my alley! It was about a man and his fiancee who went to Paris with his fiancee's parents on a business trip. One night after going to a wine tasting, the man (Owen Wilson) takes a walk instead of going dancing with fiancee (Rachael McAdams). He ends up getting lost and when the clock strikes midnight, a car drives up and he is coerced to get in. He is then taken to a club or party (I'm not sure what it was) and meets the Fitzgeralds. He has gone back in time to the 1920s. Other people he meets include famous writers and painters. Owen Wilson's character falls in love with a girl he met on his travels, but things don't work out for them because they are from two different times. Through all of his travels, Wilson's character decides not to marry his fiancee and to stay in Paris to pursue his writing career. It was so funny because my mom and I had been talking about what I wanted to wear for my senior pictures and I had this idea of dressing like I was from the 20s and the movie we say was about the 20s. It makes me wonder what it would have been like to be alive back then. I would have just loved the fashions and dancing. Oh, but I don't think the flapper lifestyle is for me.
Thurday, June 16
Today I worked on finishing this book I have to read for my English class. I think I only have about 30 or so pages left (whoo!) It only took me almost a month to get this far! I feel like such a failure D: You know how it is though. Some days you just get so busy with other things that there isn't time to do homework or you just aren't in the mood. I hope I finish it soon because I still have another book to read for English. It could be worse and I am glad that it isn't. My mom got off work early so we went to Red Mango for ice cream, cruised the mall, then ended our journey at McDonald's for Frapees (yum).
Friday, June 17
I was at home all day. I worked on reading this book for English class. I watched a movie before I went to sleep and that was about it.
Saturday, June 18
I finally finished reading the first book I had to read for English (whoo-hoo!!) I feel so accomplished! One book down, one to go! I finished the book in the morning and then fell asleep until around 1pm. My mom wanted to take my dad and I out to dinner to celebrate Father's Day which is tomorrow. Then we went into the candy shops and went home. My parents went to a movie and I am trying to clean my room up. It has been rather messy lately, but I haven't had the inspiration to clean it. I finally decided, enough is enough. I am sick of this mess. Ooh I almost forgot. I found the best thing in one of the candy stores downtown! I found a stuffed flamingo! It was so cute. Oh yeah. I have a flamingo fettish I guess you could say ^^ Flamingos are my favorite animal and pink is my favorite color :D

Week Three
Sunday, June 5
Today I had two things planned for the day. I was going to go explore this consignment shop I read about on the Internet and go visit a friend's Grandma. I got a call this morning saying that I couldn't go visit my friend's Grandma today so that was out for today. However, I still did get to go exploring. I took my dad with me. The shop was in a part of town that I had never really been in. Sure I had gone there to pick something up once or twice, but I never really walked around at all. So this shop I went to was probably the cutest place ever. I had read online that every Sunday there was a $1 sale so I had to go check it out. Other than the sale, it seemed to me like the price was really varied. Things could run anywhere from inexpensive to oh my goodness that it way too expensive for a pair of jeans, etc. The shop mainly consisted of clothing and accessories, but it also had furniture and other quirky items. The dresses were lovely, but the ones that really caught my eye weren't my size. *sad face* I found a really pretty, plain white dress that was really form-fitting. It would have been perfect had I been able to zip the darn thing. I considered buying it because it was so cute and on sale so I could try to alter it, but my sewing skills aren't that great so I'm not sure I would have been able to do it. So I ended up not buying it. I was a little sad, but I think I may try shopping there again. They buy and sell clothes so I'm sure the selection will have changed in a week or so.
Monday, June 6
Today was my dad's birthday so I decided to write a poem for him. He liked it, but I wish the poem could have been better. My family celebrated with steak for dinner, then cupcakes and icecream.
Tuesday, June 7
I got out to the gym for the first time in weeks. I know, "shame on me." It's just that whenever my parents would ask if I wanted to go with them I would be sleeping and too tired for a work out let alone get up out of bed. It felt great to get a work out even though it wasn't a very long one. I finally turned in this application that I have been holding onto for over a week. I really hope I am able to get the job. The place I applied to is a little deli by my house which is less than a mile away. It is so cute and I would love to work close to home. I need a new job. I am tired of my current one plus I need to work more hours. It's hard trying to find something to do all day. If I had a different job, at least part of the day would be devoted to working rather than watching tv. I have probably been watching too much tv lately and not reading enough books. I did, however, work on one of my summer projects today. Granted I didn't get a whole lot of work done. The most important thing is that I worked on it at all.
Wednesday, June 8- Thursday, June 9
I did some cleaning and other stuff I don't remember.
Friday, June 10
I slept in until maybe 1:30pm and then went to a picnic in a park with a group of friends. It felt amazing to GET OUT OF MY HOUSE and be around people. I haven't seen my friends in a few weeks so it was nice to see them again. We had a picnic and just played random games. It was so much fun. I'm used to going to parks by myself sadly because it seems like no one else wants to go with me *tear* I hope there will be more picnics with friends and just hanging out. I need to get out more and plus being at home a lot is DRIVING ME CRAZY.
Saturday, June 11
I slept in today and was awoken by the sound of a vacuum. Today was another cleaning day. It seemed like I was cleaning all day. I guess that is what I get for not doing my spring cleaning in spring. I have been thinking about how much time people spend cleaning. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with doing it because if I didn't my room would be a mess which I hate. I only wish it didn't take so long to clean! It gets old after doing it for so long. I did take a break to go for a mall walk and hit the food court which was nice considering I was craving teriyaki chicken :D

Week Two
Tuesday, May 31
Cleaning my bedroom and Twilight Saga marathon. I think I was about to go out of my mind because I was so bored. *sigh* I need to get out of this house....
Wednesday, June 1
I didn't do a heck of a lot today. I worked on some knitting projects, picked up some job applications for businesses by my house, explored the scrapbook aisle at the craft store, and researched some vintage/ thrift stores in town that I could explore. At the craft store there was an endless amount of stickers and paper and ah! It was so overwhelming. I thought scrapbooking was supposed to be simple D':
I think it is about time that I go on an adventure. We'll see if I am able to make it happen this week. I have a birthday party to hit over the weekend so if I have enough gas in my car I may be able to do some vintage store exploring. I don't know of a lot of vintage and thrift stores in town so that is why I wanted to check out a few different places. Also, for my senior pictures (if I even have them taken) I was going to do this whole vintage theme. I'm still not sure exactly what era of clothing I'm thinking about wearing. Watching old movies I fell in love with the styles of the 20s. Especially the hairstyles. Oh the nostalgia. Also when I picked my mom up from work we went to Village Inn for free pie night. We usually go to have coffee and pie just for the sake of having an outing and to talk. We tried this new pie called "Mango Key Lime Meringue." What a mouthful, huh? Well it turned out to be pretty tasty. Although, after eating it for a while it got a little too sweet for me. With desserts I can't eat a lot of something that is super rich.
Thursday, June 2
I went on a (rather short) adventure to the library. I had been wanting to go for days so today I finally tooking the plunge and decided "why not?" I think I found some pretty interesting books. I found some books on poetry, clothing, and scrapbooking. I have been thinking about my poetry and how it could use some improvement so I thought finding a book would be helpful. As for the books on clothing I am always interested to get new fashion ideas. The scrapbooking book just seemed like a good idea because as stated in my "summer goals" post, I want to put together a scrapbook this summer. I have never made one before so I have no idea how to do it. Hopefully the book I found will give me some helpful hints.
Friday, June 3
Today I went to help out at a dinner at my Church which was fun. The food was great and everyone was so friendly, not to mention greatful for my help. I was a little upset that I didn't get any dessert though. It was cheesecake with strawberries in a glaze on top. Oh well. I was washing dishes during dessert so at least I was working. Other than that I didn't do a whole lot today. I have been getting up rather late almost all week. I think I will probably have to start waking up early. My mom offered to wake me up in the morning if I didn't get up when my alarm goes off. I guess that wouldn't be a bad thing though because I don't want to "sleep my summer away."
Saturday, June 4
I worked on some of my summer projects today. Also I went to a birthday party today for two of my friends. It was pretty fun. There was food, cake, and scavenger hunting. It was in my friend's backyard which was so gorgeous. It was like a little enchanted forest. I would LOVE to have a backyard like that. It would be like taking my own little adventure without even leaving my backyard. The ride home was fun. The sun was red and it was so tiny up in the sky. The scenery was nice. Music somewhat loud, singing to the radio, and enjoying the view. What a great ride home!

First Week of Vacation
I think this was a fairly eventful first week of summer vacation. I think the end of the week was better than the beginning though. As eventful as it may have been I used up a lot of gas in my car. :(
Thursday, May 19
Last day of school. I was so happy school was finally out. I stayed up until about 3 or 4am (just because there was no school the next day) and watched various movies on TCM.
Friday, May 20- Wednesday, May 25
I can't remember a lot of what went on during this time. I do remember a lot of hanging out at home and wishing I was still in school. The days were long and I had somewhat long nights. I broke out my new-ish bike and took a few bike rides.
Thurday, May 26
I went to a party in the park with some friends. I got my first sunburn this summer too on my shoulders. Needless to say I will be more anal about sunscreen and such for the rest of the summer. I wanted to go see The Hangover Part Two, but because the theater was packed my mom and ended up going to see Kung Foo Panda 2. The movie was kind of cute and very visually appealing. However, I felt like the plot was a little flat.
Friday, May 27
I went to Subway then the park with a friend. We hadn't seen each other in over a year so it was nice to be able to catch up. I was in an unfamiliar part of town so I kept feeling like I was going to get lost and not get home for hours and hours. Luckily I didn't get lost, but I did drive a good 20 or 21 miles there and back. I'm not used to driving long distances so it was kind of tiring. It was my brother's birthday so we went out to eat at this place called Brick House. It was very different from most restaurants I have been to. That may have to do with the fact that it had a tap for alcohol. Or the fact that the girls working there were scantily clad in booty shorts and a shirt exposing bare midriffs and cleavage. I realize that it is a restaurant for guys to go, drink, and watch sports, but what is with the uniform? It seems like only girls with cute tummies would be able to get a job there. I felt bad that those girls were degrading themselves like that. Then again, they chose to work there...
Saturday, May 28
My aunt gave me tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert so my dad and I went together. That was probably the biggest concert I have been to. The only concerts before this one that I have been to have been outdoor summer concerts. I could not believe how many people were at Taylor's concert. The auditorium was packed. The show was phenomenal. It was a musical and theatrical performance which I thought was really unique. I took a little shy of 300 pictures. Granted they didn't all turn out because I was pretty far from the stage.
Sunday, May 29 isn't even worth talking about.
Monday, May 30
I went to a picnic at my aunt's house and got in her pool to cool off. It was so darn hot outside that I had trouble standing the heat. I tried to work on some English homework, but didn't get much done. I did a little cleaning too. My room has been a disaster since probably before break started so it desperately needed some tidying up. You'd think that because I am super organized that my room would be. Wrong. A room can't be clean all the time. I managed to finally get a frame for a picture that a friend drew of me and hung it up. Also I found a scrapbook that was perfect for me. I can't wait to start getting my pictures together and making the pages to go in it.
Well that is all for this blog. I will post more blogs either daily or weekly of my summer adventures. Have a nice day all. Thanks for reading or skimming, whatever you like to do. :)
